Do you take items on consignment ?
No. We only purchase diamonds, gold, and jewelry.
How do you determine the value of my gold or platinum ?
After testing the karatage and weighing the item, we apply the day's New York gold prices.
How do you determine what you pay for my diamond ?
We take the time to determine the exact color, clarity, carat weight and proportions. And, we do this by using a state of the art computerized laser machine. We never estimate or guess as to what your diamond’s characteristics are.
Will you do a full appraisal on my item ?
We never appraise an item of jewelry that we are going to make an offer on. Appraising an item that you want to purchase can be seen as a conflict of interest. It is also a violation of the ASA ethics code. If you would like an appraisal before or after we make you an offer, we will gladly refer you to another certified appraiser.
